isoenergy were delighted to be asked to speak at the recent Historic Houses Association members visit to Nether Cerne in Dorset. We talked to members about how this 17th Century farmhouse had installed a 21st Century heating system to remove its reliance on fossil fuels and reduce its carbon footprint.

isoenergy had installed a 34kW CTC ground source heat pump with a 500L hot water cylinder and 500L heating buffer tank. The plant room equipment was connected to two Energy Blades submerged within the river to the east of the property.

HHA members were interested to learn about the technology and how a building as historic as Nether Cerne could be comfortably, and efficiently, heated throughout the year with a heat pump system. Even without newly installed insulation, this property is still efficiently heating the home with a heat pump system.

If you would like to learn more about how a heat pump could benefit your home, or you have an existing isoenergy and you would like us to make a presentation about the technology, then please do get in touch through This email address is being protected from spambots.
