isoenergy is now well underway with the installation at a beautiful moated house in Norfolk. The 3x 34kW CTC heat pumps have been installed in the remote plantroom, as well as the collectors in the moat and the EnergyBlade heat exchangers in the moat outflow.

This week has seen the installation of the pre-insulated pipe which connects the plantroom to the main house and also to the stable cottage.

The main focus of the engineers has been on how to submerge a short length of this heavily insulated pipe when it crosses the moat to connect to the cottage.

Before the system goes live the three-phase power supply upgrade must be connected then the isoenergy engineers can wire up the heat pump system.

This installation will be replacing the heating and domestic hot water services for the main house and providing spatial heating to the cottage. It has been estimated that this will reduce the overall carbon footprint of the estate by 69% and provide a more consistent level of heating for the fabric of the building.

Another example of a stunning listed property that will be completely removed from reliance on a fossil fuel heating system.

More on this project when it goes live.
