The owners of Marlborough House in Wiltshire approached isoenergy to design and install a ground source heat pump system to provide spatial heating and hot water for their house.
Following a detailed consultation and design process, isoenergy settled upon a 40kW Nibe ground source heat pump connected to an 800L hot water cylinder and 800L buffer tank.
At the top of the garden, we used Synergy Boreholes to drill seven 150m boreholes. The plant room was connected back to the house using buried pre-insulated distribution pipework.
The system will provide a carbon reduction of over 65% versus the oil alternative and will futureproof the property as the decarbonisation of domestic heating begins to take shape across the UK.
