This Saxon manor house was previously heated by gas. The owners decided to make the change to a renewable heating system to reduce their carbon emissions and running costs.

isoenergy designed and installed a 16kW air source heat pump system to provide heating and hot water, coupled with a 100L heating buffer tank and 250L hot water tank. The client’s house is now future-proofed and protected against potential changes in fossil fuel boiler legislation.

This is another house that has moved away from costly heating bills and also reduced their carbon footprint by 70%.

The clients also installed a very high level of insulation to reduce the heat load of the building. This meant a reasonably sized air source system could be installed to provide the heating and hot water.

Key features:

  • Nibe 16kW air source heat pump
  • Cordivari 100L heating buffer tank
  • Joule 250L hot water tank
