isoenergy was asked to design a system that would respect the building and heat the section currently lived in by the owners. A number of options were available for providing heating, but the nearby lake was a perfect heat source for a ground source heat pump.
The 85 kW ground source heat pump provides heating and heats 1,000 litres of hot water for the care home. The ground array contains 4,600 metres of collector pipework.
