  • Collector type:
  • Size (kW): 22
  • New/retrofit: New build
  • Brand: EcoForest

Isoenergy were contacted by our clients constructing Lode House in the Cotswolds to design and install a ground source heat pump system to provide spatial heating and domestic hot water throughout the house.

Having reviewed the plans of the new build property and discussed the insulation levels the architect was hoping to achieve, isoenergy proposed a 22kW Ecoforest ground source heat pump connected to an 800L tank-in-tank hot water cylinder and 200L heating buffer tank.

In the grounds, we installed 1400 metres of 40mm MDPE collector pipework buried in seven 100m long trenches.

The new owners of Lode House are now able to enjoy their future low heating costs and a renewable heating system that is reducing their household carbon emissions by over 70%.

Key features:

  • Ecoforest 22kW ground source heat pump
  • Sigma 800L hot water cylinder
  • Cordivari 200L heating buffer tank
