Isoenergy has now finalised the programme for our new series of webinars for industry professionals covering renewable energy best practice and how to make renewables work in your next project.

Keeping abreast of the situation with current best practice for renewables has been hard during lockdown with so many of us working from home. To combat this, isoenergy has created a series of remote webinars that are free for industry professionals to attend.

Subjects being covered focus on our main areas of expertise in the industry including ground and air source heat pumps, solar photovoltaic and battery storage.

Session 1 – Ground source heat pumps

This session will focus on water and ground source heat pumps in general, design considerations and when to know if they are right for a project or not. This session will present our collective experience having been installing heat pumps for over a decade. We will help you to identify potential pit falls and new opportunities for your projects. This session is designed for architects, builders, developers, M&E consultants, but will still be of interest for individuals considering heat pumps for their own projects.

Date: Friday 26th February 2021

Time: 09:00 – 10:00

You can watch a replay here: https://youtu.be/IfkaPBW4by8

Session 2 – Ground source heat pump collector arrays

This session will focus on the complex subject of collector arrays for heat pumps and will build on the knowledge already shared in session 1. We will cover how to assess if there is enough room for a horizontal collector array, what to consider when planning an array, how to manage borehole drilling along with using different water sources and the energy potential to power a heat pump. This session is designed for anyone with an interest in learning how collector arrays for heat pumps work.

Date: Friday 5th March 2021

Time: 09:00 – 10:00

You can watch a replay here: https://youtu.be/GLQOUC-G51g

Session 3 – Air source heat pumps

This session will focus on the specification and technical aspects of including air source heat pumps in your projects. We address some of the misnomers and misconceptions pertaining to air source and can give you the knowledge to assess when they are appropriate to install and when they are not. This session is designed for anyone with an interest in learning how air source heat pumps can improve their construction project.

Date: 12th March 2021

Time: 09:00 – 10:00

You can watch a replay here: https://youtu.be/wylLfIPk_3c

Session 4 – Solar photovoltaic and battery storage

This session will focus on using solar power for your project, how to get the best value and how to tell when battery storage is required to make financial sense. This session is designed for anyone with an interest in learning how solar photovoltaic and battery storage can improve their construction project.

Date: 19th March 2021

Time: 09:00 – 10:00

You can watch a replay here: https://youtu.be/Q6K-_vK7jAg

Spaces for the sessions are limited and will be confirmed on a first come first served basis. Use the links above to register for this programme today to avoid disappointment.
