Leverton is a modern family home designed, then remodeled for new owners, by Ian Adam Smith Architects of Surrey. As part of the renovation, the new owners of the house were keen to move away from burning LPG to heat the main house and its outbuildings.

Isoenergy designed and installed a remote ground source heat pump system in the old stable with energy collected from an array of seven boreholes. Pre-insulated pipe then provides energy as required to the buildings on the site.

Key features:

  • 24kW CTC i425 ground source heat pump
  • 7 x 106m boreholes
  • 500 litre hot water cylinder
  • 300 litre heating buffer tank
