  • Size (kW): 3.42
  • New/retrofit: New build

St Philips Avenue is a new build development of four luxury apartments in London. The roof of the building is constructed using Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) which was a first for isoenergy. By getting isoenergy involved early in the specification, we were able to ensure the solar panels could be securely fixed to the roof without risk of leaks.

The 12 all-black monocrystalline panels have a peak output of 285Wp each making an array of 3.42kWp. The panels are wired to an SMA inverter which is in turn connected to the mains supply for the communal areas of the building. This means the landlord is able to claim the Feed-in-tariff and enjoy the cost savings of the electricity produced.
