For the second year in a row, a project isoenergy worked on is on the long list for the RIBA House of the Year Award.

The annual celebration of architecture organised by the Royal Institute of British Architects is one of the industry’s most prized awards. Having won the regional award in the South of England, Oxfordshire Residence, designed by world-renown architect Richard Meier stands alongside other entries for the overall winner of the RIBA House of the Year Award 2017.

For this project, isoenergy designed and installed a renewable energy system that would make the best use of the available energy in the environment to heat the house, provide hot water and heat the swimming pool. A full case study of the project can be found on the isoenergy website.

The houses that are up for the award are all featured in the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs which started on the 7th November 2017 at 9pm on Channel 4 and continues on the 14th November and finished on the 21st
