The owner of Chilton House already has a heat pump from isoenergy so when building this new house on the estate, they contacted isoenergy again for help. The client wished to reduce the new house’s carbon foot print by heating the house with a heat pump that was installed in an existing cow shed.
Isoenergy installed a 24kW CTC ground source heat pump system with energy collected from a horizontal ground array in a nearby field. The system provides all of the property’s heating, hot water and indoor pool water heating.
