Boiler Upgrade Scheme

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is the Government’s new grant to improve uptake of renewable heating systems like air source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps. The scheme is now open to households and small commercial entities who are replacing a fossil fuel heating system like a gas or oil boiler with eligible technology.

The Renewable Heat Incentive for non-domestic properties

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a UK Government scheme set up to encourage uptake of renewable heat technologies among householders, communities and businesses through the provision of financial incentives.

The Renewable Heat Incentive is now closed to new applicants. It has been replaced by the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
