A solar photovoltaic system was the obvious means for this museum to reduce its carbon footprint; they had the roofspace and use a lot of electricity during the day.
18 monocrystalline solar photovoltaic panels were installed on the roof of the museum. In total the panels can generate 3.33 kW of power.
