The first of a planned series of reports from Citizens Advice has warned the Government that it is essential to make sure that Citizens are at the heart of the process of the changes needed to make the country carbon-neutral by 2050.

Since the Government’s feed-in-tariff closed to new applicants, there has been little incentive to install solar PV unless you can make use of all the electricity it generates. To fill that gap, as of 1^st January 2020 any supplier of electricity that has more than 150,000 domestic customers must provide a Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) tariff.
