Ridgeford properties intended to extend the existing building, known as 10 Weymouth Street, which consists of 19 high specification rental apartments over five floors and 4,000 square feet of office space. The rear of the site, which overlooks RIBA head office and its restaurant terrace, was designed by legendary architect Ken Shuttleworth and clad in brass. It also features glass bay pods to maximise light and space. The development also has a meadow roof.

The urban setting had limited space but was located above an aquifer which meant that an open loop system using water extracted from the aquifer was suitable.

isoenergy was commissioned to drill a 113 metre abstraction borehole as well as a 113 metre reinjection borehole. The ground source heat pump also installed extracted heat from the water to provide heating and returned heat to the water when in cooling mode.
