Fiona Thomas has recently started as coordinator for the Sales and Project Management teams.

Fiona has 20 years’ experience in coordinating live music events which, she explains, also involved getting people and equipment to the right place, at the right time, in order to energise a venue. Here at isoenergy, Fiona will be ensuring cohesive organisation and communication between the sales, technical, and project management teams. This will help us to continue delivering highly specified energy systems, including heat pumps and solar energy, on time and efficiently.

Growing up, Fiona lived in Hope, literally. She grew up in a small village in North Wales called Yr Hob, which translates as ‘Hope’. She moved to London and after a brief time working as a linguist began working in the music industry. Having started off working at Tony Andrew’s Turbosound there followed a 20 year career working for different companies and disciplines, sound, lighting and video production management and logistics. Fiona helped to organise equipment and technical support for Bowie and Jagger’s Live Aid ‘Dancing in the Street’ video shoot as well as working on events from Hyde Park to Red Square in Moscow, as well as “The Wall Berlin” celebration of the reunification of Germany. Fiona also developed an eye for detail; for instance, she had to import a Manhasset music stand especially for Frank Sinatra when he was playing the Albert Hall.

Having moved out of London and no-longer wanting the long hours and commute, Fiona began working at Ibstock Brick and then on to Bill Kear Plant & Agricultural Contractors as a project administrator. Fiona’s extensive experience in coordinating operations will be valuable in enhancing project delivery at isoenergy.
