Holy Rood House is a new build residence in a rural location. It has a separate guest accommodation in an annexe building which is linked into the main house plant room. The heat pump provides energy for spatial heating and domestic hot water systems at the property and the annexe building.

The heat pump system was designed to heat both the house and the separate guest accommodation in the annexe.

The heating and hot water are provided by a 35 kW heat pump and 1,800 metres of collector pipe. The heating is distributed through underfloor heating and the hot water is stored in a 600 litre tank.
