Pusey House is Grade II listed and a beautiful example of 1750s Georgian architecture. isoenergy was brought in to help the current owner replace the house’s outdated oil-fired boilers and bring multiple buildings on the estate together via a shared district heating system.

isoenergy designed a heat pump system to provide heating and hot water for the main house, the apartments above the stable block, the old schoolhouse and the estate's shootroom. In this case, the owners built a bespoke plant room to house the equipment.

isoenergy installed two ground source heat pumps with a total capacity of 292 kW. The collector array consisted of 30 loops, each 300 metres long and located in a field close to the house. There is a 3000 litre heating buffer tank and a 1,500 litre hot water tank; the heat is distributed from the plantroom to the buildings by highly insulated pipe to reduce heat losses.
