Best Sustainability Innovation

Isoenergy was awarded the Best Sustainability Innovation award from Sussex Building Control in conjunction with Chris and Mary Jones.

This was an innovative design, which included the installation of a Ground Source Heat Pump and solar panels to provide heating, cooling and domestic hot water. Spatial heating and hot water for the new timber frame dwelling, was obtained by means of a 400m collector array in the adjacent paddock. The property is fitted with a passive cooling system distributed via the underfloor loops. In addition to this, a Mechanical Heat Recovery Ventilation (MHRV) unit is fitted providing fresh circulated pre-warmed air to the dwelling.
